Scotland - Driving to The Isle of Skye

On our way to the Isle of Skye, we took a detour to see Kilchurn Castle. It's located in a town called Dalmally. It was incredibly beautiful there. This castle is only open to the public during the summer months because at other times of the year it is surrounded by water. On our walk back from the castle we met a really friendly gentleman and his wife. He stopped and asks us, "Is it worth it?" in his beautiful British accent. We told him it was 14 pounds a person to go inside. He replied, "Oh! It is definitely not worth it!" We felt the same way. He asked where we were from, and we told him. He was excited because he has a really good friend living in Knoxville. We chatted with them for quite a while. They were so friendly! He encouraged us to come to North Wales for a holiday, where they were visiting from.

These little rock monuments are made in remembrance of a loved ones lost. There were hundreds.

These crack me up:

 "Have you seen this man??"

Eilean Donan Castle
One of my favorite pictures I took! <3 nbsp="" p="">

The castle is situated on an island where 3 lochs meet. This is the view from the castle courtyard. It is magnificent and beautiful. This was the only castle we went inside.
