Valentine pjs

My thoughtful sister, Mandy, and her family sent Will a Valentine package. He got some cute new jammies that we love and some cards. Layla, and Olivia, he loved your cards so much he tried to eat them! Thanks for thinking of us!

Pecan Pickin'-sort of...

Thanksgiving Day, Patrick's dad discovered we had a couple Pecan trees at the edge of our property. Not only did we have Pecan trees, we also had a Walnut (we actually did know about this one, we just didn't care too much) and a Hickory Nut tree. Yeah. We felt like idiots. We have lived here for 3 years and never noticed. In our weak defense we do have 3 acres.

We didn't let our embarrassment keep us from gathering up the little gems though. We have taken several trips to the edge of our land to gather up those yummy morsels. One day a couple weeks ago, Will and I went out to make sure we had gotten them all. Mostly we had, so I pretty much just spent my time watching this cute little guy explored the very, very, back of the back yard.

A couple of weeks ago, my mother-in-law, Kay had a birthday. She decided she wanted to celebrate in a way that all the grandkids could really have a good time. She chose chuck e cheeses'. This was Will's first trip but I think he'll want to go back.
