Halloween

This year the boys decided to dress up as construction workers. I had so much fun taking their picture and gathering up all our props for their photo shoot. I took over 200 pictures, and even though a lot of those got deleted, it was still really hard narrowing them down to a little over 100. I thought they looked great. This is definitely one of my favorite costumes we've done right after the skunk they both were as babies. Who knew dirt and tool belts could be so fun?

Will had a Halloween party at preschool where he got WAY too much candy, and that evening we went to Miranda and Derrick's to have a little party and do a little trick or treating. I love Halloween!

 

Baby baby!

We found out at the end of June we would be adding to our family! Patrick and I had prayerfully decided that our family wasn't quite complete and that now was the time to add to it. It was a tough decision to make. We of course had fears. Will's epilepsy wasn't under great control--better, but not great. But when the confirmation came in April during General Conference it was undeniable.

We are so so excited to be adding another boy to our rowdy bunch!! Will and Jack came with us for the ultrasound and they were really confused. They had been so sure the whole time that they would be having a baby sister. When we were looking at the ultrasound pictures, there was one showing the baby's hand. Being so tiny it really didn't look like much more than a skeleton of his hand. Will gave me a good laugh when he said, "Mom, look at his claws!"

My best friend Miranda is expecting a girl the end of December, and Bryce and Keeley are expecting a girl the beginning of January. We feel very blessed by all these sweet babies and hope they are great friends!
